Mega Manila Subway underway with ‘Build, Build, Build’
Among the centerpieces of President Rodrigo Duterte’s “Build, Build Build” program is the first ever subway in Metro Manila, which is expected to provide relief to millions of commuters.
The project started rolling with the signing of a P51.3-billion loan agreement from Japan last March for the first phase of the project.
The subway system, which will run from Mindanao Avenue in the north all the way to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport complex, is expected to be partially operational by 2020 and fully operational by 2025.
Here is what to expect from one of the flagship projects under “Dutertenomics.”
