Once again, property giant Megaworld proved how it embraces innovation as it uplifts lives, impacts society, and help build an empowered nation after bagging four major international awards in various categories at the prestigious 2019 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards held in Singapore.
By highlighting the company’s thrust on innovation in corporate social responsibility, media relations, and digital technology, Megaworld cemented its standing as one of the most awarded real estate companies in the Philippines today.
Megaworld Foundation, the socio-civic arm of Megaworld, was awarded a Gold Stevie for the category “Innovation in Non-Profit Organizations” for its scholarship program called “From Building Homes to Building Lives.” Meanwhile, the company’s official website,megaworldcorp.com, also won a Silver Stevie for the category “Innovation in Corporate Websites.”
Winning a Bronze Stevie each were the company’s “Loving Iloilo” campaign under the category “Innovation in Media Relations,” as well as its 2018 Corporate AVP for “Innovation in the Use of Video.”
The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards is the only business awards program to recognize innovation in the workplace in all 29 nations within the Asia-Pacific region. The Stevie Awards are widely considered to be the world’s premier business awards, conferring recognition for achievement in programs such as The International Business Awards for 17 years.
Nicknamed the “Stevies” for the Greek word “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners at a gala banquet at the InterContinental Hotel in Singapore.
The panel of judges considered more than 900 nominations about innovative achievements across the Asia-Pacific region mainly from 16 markets: Australia, China, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Japan, Macao, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, the USA and Vietnam.
